Finding My Voice: A New Chapter in Music

Every once in a while, life nudges you toward something you’ve always loved but kept tucked away in a corner of your heart. For me, that has always been music. For years, I scribbled verses and melodies into notebooks, sometimes humming them out loud, but most of the time, keeping them private—like little secrets only I could decode. Music felt too personal, too vulnerable, too sacred to put into the world.

But this year, something shifted. Call it timing, call it courage, or maybe just the natural pull of creativity. Whatever it is, I’ve decided it’s finally time to share.

A Collaboration with DKNY Fragrances

Right now, I’m in the middle of an exciting project with DKNY Fragrances, stepping into the role of their Core Girl—a title that still makes me smile every time I say it. As part of this collaboration, I’ve been recording songs that carry the same energy as the brand itself: bold, modern, a little daring, and unapologetically feminine.

One of the tracks that came out of this process is something I’m especially proud of. It’s sultry, playful, and—considering it was recorded in just a single afternoon—an absolute whirlwind of energy and emotion. It’s the kind of song that feels like a diary entry set to music: a little bit about love, a whole lot about passion, and a reminder that sometimes, spontaneity brings out your best work.

A Brooklyn Afternoon with Scott Seader

The song came to life in Brooklyn, where I jammed with the insanely talented Scott Seader of The Sinclairs. Scott has this magnetic presence—easygoing yet electrifying—and the way he works a guitar is nothing short of magic. Watching him layer riffs and textures while I pieced together lyrics felt effortless, like we were speaking the same unspoken language. There’s a thrill that comes from building a song with someone who just gets it, and that’s exactly what happened that day.

It wasn’t overthought, it wasn’t overproduced—it was raw and real. That’s what makes the track so special to me.

Music as a New Frontier

For so long, music has lived in the background of my life—fueling my style, inspiring my travels, shaping the way I see the world. But actually stepping forward as a songwriter and performer feels like a new chapter, one that’s both exhilarating and terrifying.

Sharing music means sharing a piece of yourself that you can’t really hide behind. Fashion allows you to transform, to put on different personas depending on your mood or environment. Music, though—it strips you down. It’s your voice, your words, your truth.

And that’s exactly why I want to do it now. Because if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that creativity is meant to be expressed, not hoarded away in journals and private playlists.

The First Track: FACTORY

Which brings me to my very first original track: FACTORY.

Even saying those words out loud feels surreal. It’s the debut of something I’ve dreamed about for years but only now had the courage to bring into the light. FACTORY is the beginning of me sharing not just melodies but emotions, stories, and moments that have shaped me.

You can listen to it now on SoundCloud, and yes—it’s available to download! That still blows my mind.

Why This Matters

Releasing music into the world isn’t about perfection. It’s about connection. If even one person listens to FACTORY and feels something—nostalgia, excitement, empowerment, or maybe just the urge to dance—then I’ve done what I set out to do.

This is just the start. I’m taking all the scribbles and scraps from my notebooks, the fragments of lyrics written on napkins, the melodies recorded into my phone at 2 a.m., and I’m turning them into something real. Something worth sharing.

This year, I’m devoting myself to music in the same way I’ve devoted myself to fashion, travel, and storytelling. It’s another layer of who I am, one that’s been waiting patiently for its turn to step into the spotlight.

An Invitation

So here it is: my invitation to you to come along on this journey. Listen to FACTORY. Follow me on SoundCloud for updates as more songs find their way out of my head and into your speakers. Share your thoughts. Sing along. Dance if you feel like it.

Because music isn’t just about the artist—it’s about the community it creates. And I can’t wait to see where this one leads.
